Hi, Future Artists!

I'm Miss. Wu, a visual artist and space & installation designer who recently earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Pratt Institute. My artistic journey began at age 10, when I first picked up a paintbrush. Since then, I have explored a variety of mediums—sketching, charcoal, colored pencils, acrylics, and digital art—always seeking new ways to express ideas and emotions.

In addition to creating art, I am deeply passionate about teaching. Over the years, I have worked closely with students ranging from junior high to university level, providing personalized guidance tailored to each individual’s strengths and interests. I believe that art education should be inspiring, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and confidence.

For me, painting is not just about technique; it’s a powerful language for emotional expression and self-discovery. I hold a strong belief that every child is a natural-born creator, a genius with a unique perspective waiting to be unlocked. My goal as an educator is to help students find joy and fulfillment in the creative process, to nurture their artistic voices, and to grow alongside them every step of the way.
