Ms. Zhou is dedicated to creative art education for children, focusing on teaching children aged 4 to 9. Through years of teaching experience and reflection, she has developed an original curriculum tailored for different age groups. Her courses aim to stimulate children's imagination and foster their ability to think independently. Ms. Zhou starts from the children’s perspective, using methods that are easy for them to understand to teach art creation, encouraging them to freely express their ideas and feelings, respecting each child’s unique creativity, and preserving their pure innocence.
Furthermore, Ms. Zhou periodically organizes her students to participate in children's art competitions, where they have repeatedly won first and second prizes in the creative arts category. In 2019, she launched a WeChat public account called "Talking About Painting with You," where she shares insights and experiences about art education for various age groups, earning high praise from many parents. Ms. Zhou opposes the practice of copy drawing ("model drawing") and advocates for more parents and educators to pay attention to children's creative art education to protect and cultivate their creativity.
